Mission
The mission of the Strategy and Funding (SaF) department is to strengthen the CRG’s research capabilities and impact, ensuring access to sustainable funding sources and positioning CRG as a global leader in life sciences research.
Our department focuses on achieving these core objectives:
- Strategic guidance: Providing expert advice and support to the Director to shape and enhance CRG’s overall strategic direction.
- Securing funding: Obtaining competitive funding for research projects and institutional needs, securing a solid and sustainable financial foundation.
- Global Impact: Elevating CRG’s impact, establishing it as a recognized leader in the global research community.
- Collaborations and partnerships: Fostering institutional and research collaborations to create opportunities for new ventures and partnerships.
- Policy integration: Incorporating transversal and science policy dimensions into research activities to align with broader societal and policy goals.
To accomplish these goals, the SaF department is structured into four interconnected areas, working in synergy to maximize its impact and drive CRG’s mission forward.
