Summary
The goal of this project is to identify conserved, targetable processes and markers mis-regulated in clonal hematopoiesis (CH) in human. Currently, it is difficult to develop drugs and diagnostic tests for CH, because blood stem cells in CH are very similar to healthy blood stem cells, and cannot be isolated. This project will characterize these cells with a novel technology for the sequencing of RNA in single cells.
